Both of UR’s Ultimate Frisbee teams, the Piggies and EZs, attended the 2021 USA D-III College Ultimate Championships from Dec. 17-20 in Norco, CA. This was the first time both teams made it to Nationals.

Both of UR’s Ultimate Frisbee teams had the chance to go to Nationals for the first time this winter, with the women’s team (the EZs) and the men’s team (the Piggies) placing 11th and 12th in their respective divisions.

Men and women’s Ultimate Frisbee qualify for nationals, raises funds within the week
Rarely can the words “Nationals Qualifying” and “UR sports” be said in the same sentence, but both the Men’s Ultimate Frisbee and Women’s Ultimate Frisbee teams have made the impossible happen. As soon as UR finals end, the EZs (women’s) and Piggies (men’s) will be traveling to Norco, California for the national USA Ultimate College Championships.

The ultimate fun and competitive club sports experience
This weekend, Men’s Club Ultimate Frisbee traveled to Oneonta to compete in the USA Ultimate Division III Metro East Regional Tournament. A strong showing in inclement weather at this weekend’s games could allow the team to qualify for the national Division III tournament.
