Senior Isabella Barbagallo is the main vocalist for BB Dang, a local cover band in the Rochester area, alongside keyboardist Matt Edwards, drummer Mike Valle, guitarist Alex Sherwood, guitarist/vocalist Reid Burton, and bassist/backup vocalist Cam Carlson. The Campus Times had the opportunity to talk to Barbagallo and her bandmates about being in an off-campus band, getting gigs, and the process of working collaboratively with people from different backgrounds and schedules.

Sophomores Margo Moore and Katie O’Leary are two of the founders of the Adopted Students Alliance (ASA), which is one of the newest clubs on campus. The Campus Times had the opportunity to talk to them about ASA, its function on campus, and how the process of starting a new club works.

The show guided me through an emotional rollercoaster, identity crisis, and musical bombardment all in one.

Both of UR’s Ultimate Frisbee teams, the Piggies and EZs, attended the 2021 USA D-III College Ultimate Championships from Dec. 17-20 in Norco, CA. This was the first time both teams made it to Nationals.

Both of UR’s Ultimate Frisbee teams had the chance to go to Nationals for the first time this winter, with the women’s team (the EZs) and the men’s team (the Piggies) placing 11th and 12th in their respective divisions.

As a result of the premiere of “Hedwig and the Angry Inch,” the Campus Times had the chance to interview one of the cast members.

CT interviewed Angel Alfaro to learn about how the Washington Semester functions, what their experience has been like applying and going through with the programming, and what advice they have for prospective applicants.
