According to UR Security Investigator Daniel Lafferty, on Sunday evening, a female student walking along the access drive to Susan B. Anthony Residence Halls reported that she saw a red-colored SUV-style vehicle, which was possibly a Jeep, being driven by someone she did not know.

The vehicle pulled up close to her. The driver proceeded to get out of the vehicle.

The student changed directions and headed back toward the IT Center. The student then heard the vehicle’s tires spinning.

She glanced behind her to look where the vehicle was. The student then reported that she saw that the vehicle was now driving in her direction again.

The student went in the opposite direction of the car and entered the front of Sue B. There were other students in the lobby. The vehicle is believed to have pulled into the drive near the Corner Store.

Security officers responding to the area were unable to locate the vehicle in question.

Student dislocates shoulder playing basketball

On Saturday night, a student who sustained a dislocated shoulder was transported via ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.

The student injured his arm while playing basketball in the Palestra.

According to Lafferty, the student received further evaluation and care at Strong.

Keys stolen on Fraternity Quad

According to Lafferty, a student reported that his keys were stolen on Sunday morning. The student’s keys were in his jacket pocket.

The student was attending a party at Delta Upsilon Fraternity House. The jacket had been placed with other jackets in a room.

When the owner retrieved the jacket, he discovered the keys were missing.

The student checked back with brothers in the house and they reported finding no keys.

Student sent to Emergency Room

On Friday afternoon, a student was reported to be experiencing severe headaches accompanied by dizziness.

The student was transported via ambulance from the Eastman Commons Building to Strong Memorial Hospital Emergency Department.

According to Lafferty, the student was given further evaluation and care at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Bike stolen outside Strong Auditorium

According to Lafferty, a student reported that his bike was stolen from the bike rack outside Strong Auditorium. The bike was reported to be stolen between Thursday at 12:30 p.m. and Friday at 12:15 a.m.

The bike had been secured by a cable-type lock which was attached to the rack. This lock was also stolen.

The student stated that he would be calling the police at a later time to file a report.
