The coed a cappella group After Hours will perform Saturday in a show called “Dude, Where’s My Remote?” They have invited “The Generics,” an all-male a cappella group from the University of Maryland, to join them.
The theme, no doubt a reference to the Oscar-worthy comedy “Dude, Where’s My Car,” starring Ashton Kutcher and Seann William Scott, refers to television channel surfing, says sophomore and After Hours Publicity Chair Michaela Kim.
Channel surfing will occur in the form of miniature skits throughout the show, complemented by some of the group’s original songs.
The group is offering a new CD, entitled “Pit Stop.”
The show begins at 8 p.m. in Upper Strong Auditorium.
Tickets cost $5 and can be purchased from the Common Market or at the door.
