The Campus Times has been an institution at the University of Rochester for over 150 years, featuring weekly work from undergrads representing a diverse set of majors and backgrounds. Our contributors take time from their course schedules to write, edit, and photograph for our newspaper, which serves both the campus and the surrounding Rochester community. Our efforts culminate nearly every Sunday night in a caffeine-soaked production session.

To truly expand our journalistic efforts—especially in the increasingly important online arena—funding is crucial. While our staff is dedicated and driven to continue the Campus Times’ tradition of writing and reporting excellence, a lack of means prevents us from evolving and pursuing more ambitious projects. Increased funds would help us afford new office equipment (we are currently copier–less), professional photographic design materials and software, educational trips to journalism conferences, travel for sports reporters to away games, and more.
