1. A woman in Wichita left her bedroom late at night to find a burglar eating cookie dough from her freezer.

She described him as a blue-ish creature that wouldn’t stop saying, “me want cookie.” She said there was also a grouch in the garbage who got away, but fortunately the cat killed the bird.

2. A group of teenagers were trapped in an elevator after the elevator crashed to the bottom floor.    

“It really brought us down,” one of the teens said.

3. Two teens were arrested after failing to steal cookies from a couple of Girl Scouts.

The Girl Scouts saw this as a perfect opportunity to earn their police badge.

4. J.K. Rowling announced that two new “Harry Potter” books are on their way, leaving some wondering how a new movie could be cast.

Little known fact, I actually auditioned for Harry Potter. True story. The audition didn’t go well at all, and I think it’s because I didn’t know how to do magic.

5. New Jersey’s largest mall will be open on Thanksgiving for the first time.

The state’s annual Turkey Trot race will start in Macy’s and end in JC Penny’s.

6. A Maine teen is being charged with naked break-ins. 

Police report that they finally got him, barely.

7. A Mexican boy had a massive tumor removed from his brain in the U.S. after 12 hours of surgery.

And let me tell you, it was a load off his mind.

8. Ohio firefighters rescued a dog who was stuck on a roof for three days.

“I spent two days saying woof and literally no one knew where to look for me,” the dog said.

9. A groundhog was put down after charging then attacking a man outside his garage in New Hampshire.

The question remains, how will we be able to tell how many weeks of winter are left?

10. This week, Buffalo dealt with a storm that brought multiple feet of snow.

The snow left the entire city feeling under the weather. Literally.
