1. On Saturday, March 29 at 6:04am, Public Safety Officers responded to Gleason Library after receiving reports of an older man sleeping in the area. Upon arrival, officers located a 49 year old man in the library. The man had papers spread out near one of the computers. The man denied having any identification, but he did give officers his middle and last name. Officers learned the man had been previously banned from campus. He was apprehended and charged with trespassing. The man was transported to public safety headquarters where Rochester Police took him into custody.

2. On Saturday, March 29 at 2:31am, Public Safety Officers responded to the ninth floor of Wilder Tower after reports of a man loitering around the area. Responding officers located the un-affiliated male who stated he was invited to the area by a student. That student was contacted and stated he knew the male from high school but did not invite him to the campus. The man then stated it was other students that he was here to see. These other students were contacted and they confirmed they did not invite the man either. The students reported that he had shown up uninvited in the past before and been told not to do this. Offices escorted the man from the building and banned him from returning to the property. He promptly left property without incident.

Undergraduates found with stolen signs 

3. On Friday, March 28 at 10:31 pm, Public Safety Officers responded to South Plymouth Ave near the footbridge for the report of two people carrying a sign. Officers located the two who were in possession of a sign taken from the River Campus. The two were identified as undergraduates, and they admitted to taking the sign. The students stated they were simply fooling around by taking the sign. The students were advised to return the sign to campus, which they did. The students were warned and advised against further theft.

4. On Friday, March 28 at 2:10am, a Public Safety Officer observed four people on the roof of Todd Union. The officer advised the four to safely climb down from the roof, which they did. The four were identified as undergraduates. The group stated that they were walking by Todd Union when they decided they wanted to climb up on one of the lower roofs of the building. The group stated they did not know that climbing onto roofs of buildings was prohibited. The group was told it was against the rules to do so and warned against further actions.
